Today, I honor the memory of the 1.5 million Armenians who were killed in the Armenian Genocide. Being Armenian has shaped so much of how I see the world. It’s part of who I am, and how I was raised. Visiting Armenia with my family was one of the most impactful experiences of my life, and it deepened my connection to my roots in a way I carry with me every day. I pray for the Armenian community today, and for all of those around the world who are suffering - that their lives are protected, their voices are heard, and their pain is not ignored.
